Saturday – Call to Action: Fixing New Jersey’s Broken Political System

The pro-democracy movement is finally taking hold in New Jersey, an urge by community leaders and everyday New Jerseyans toward a more accountable, more transparent, more democratic state that represents the will of the voters. Like this (so far) women-led initiative to tackle New Jersey’s political corruption.

For the same reason, I’m flagging this event for you in Cherry Hill, because I think Blue Jerseyans will get a lot out of it. A similar event a few weeks ago in a Belmar brewery ‘sold out’ every seat within 36 hours; standing room only.

Call to Action: Fixing New Jersey’s Broken Political System
When: Saturday, March 2 – 3:30-5:30pm
Where: Unitarian Universalist Church in Cherry Hill
Address: 401 Kings Hwy N, Cherry Hill, New Jersey 08034
More info. RSVP. Speakers below.

Note: This event was planned before NJ Working Families’ Analilia Mejia was named Bernie Sanders’ National Political Director. So, at this point, it’s uncertain whether she can make it. Saturday is also Bernie’s first 2020 rally – on the campus of Brooklyn College, in the borough of his childhood (and mine).

If you can’t make it to Cherry Hill, you can watch the live stream on Blue Jersey’s Facebook page.
