A mobile billboard sponsored by the House Majority PAC is making its rounds in New Jersey’s Third Congressional District and there was no better place for the start of its journey than the District Office of Congressman Tom MacArthur.
The PAC, which supports Democratic candidates, teamed with the health care advocates at New Jersey Citizen Action to bring the billboard to South Jersey. Speakers at this morning’s kickoff were Ann Vardeman, Program Director at NJCA, Ruth Gage, a 93-year-old retired nurse, and Mayor Rita Romeu of Chesterfield.
They talked about the pitfalls of the MacArthur/Trump healthcare plan, especially the “age tax” which will hit citizens between the ages of 50 and 64 rather hard.
If you’re in Burlington or Ocean Counties, look for the billboard as it makes its way through the District.
