On Saturday, June 30, Americans from coast to coast will participate in marches and rallies to protest one of the many Trump atrocities – the separation of families. While the main march is in Washington DC, there will be satellite marches, including several in New Jersey and neighboring New York City and Philadelphia.
Blue Jersey will be live streaming the Princeton rally, starting at noon. It’s being organized by the Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice whose leader, Robt Seda-Schreiber states:
“¡No más!” We must protect, respect & love all our people!
“¡No más!” 2,300 children cannot be taken from their families.
“¡No más!” Child abuse is not an acceptable means of deterrence. ”
¡No más!” Immigrant rights are human rights & human rights are immigrant rights.
“¡No más!” It’s time we inspire in the streets & be a force in our communities to call for an end to the human rights abuses of ICE & the Trump Administration as they cruelly separate children from their families.
“¡No más!” The world is watching, & we cannot allow this to continue.
Additionally, on Friday, June 29, there will be statewide protests at various NJ GOP congressmen’s offices. These are being co-sponsored by Lawyer Moms of America and Action Together New Jersey. Details here:
Blue Jersey will be live streaming (on our Facebook page) the CD-3 rally from Marlton.
I encourage everyone who is physically able to attend a rally – whether in DC or locally. But if you can’t, you can watch the live stream of the Princeton event here on BlueJersey.com, starting around noon on Saturday. You can learn more about the Princeton rally at this link, and about the Rustin Center here.
