At Saturday’s March for Our Lives in Audubon/Haddon Heights, after several hours of walking and listening to remarks, a good number of the 1,000 attendees had left for warmer environs when the event organizer, AJ Arnold delivered his closing remarks.
He talked about his personal journey, the intersection of gun violence with the LGBT community and other marginalized groups like people of color and people with disabilities.
If you didn’t stay until the end, this is worth watching. And if you did, it’s worth re-watching.
Thank you to AJ, all of the other young people who helped organize and speak, and whose commitment to a better nation didn’t end on that chilly Saturday afternoon.
