Tanzie Youngblood Statement on Frank LoBiondo’s Retirement

This evening, Democrat Tanzie Youngblood, who announced in September that she is running for Frank LoBiondo’s seat in the Second District, issued this statement:

“I’m not surprised Rep. LoBiondo is retiring. Washington is broken and needs new leadership. I’ve been visiting with people throughout the district and they are deeply concerned – concerned about paying for healthcare, concerned about the direction of education, worried about making ends meet. It’s why I decided to run – to stop South Jersey from getting left behind.  I was willing to take on a 22-year incumbent and I’m excited to be running in what is now one of the most competitive races in the country.”

Yes and it’s high time we ELECT A TEACHER in South Jersey and a woman as well. No more conservative white men , even if they’re Democrats, should be speaking for all of Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland , and Salem counties. Go Tanzie!!!
