Well now, everything’s coming up Newark, isn’t it? First, we heard yesterday that the Christie administration would endorse Newark as its pick for the four cities vying for Amazon’s second headquarters.
And today, we hear that President Barack Obama will come to the Brick City Thursday, October 19, to move Ambassador Phil Murphy across the finish line.
According to TAPInto Newark, Obama will join Murphy and his running mate Assemblywoman Sheila Oliver, a Newark native, for a canvass kickoff rally at the Robert Treat Hotel in downtown Newark.
Last week, Obama’s vice president, Joe Biden, came to rally for Phil Murphy in Edison and New Brunswick.
More to come.
