McCain signals he won’t vote for Graham-Cassidy

I’m out, without my trusty computer, so I’ll keep this short. But Senator John McCain, who killed the last Republican attempt to kill several million Americans Obamacare with a dramatic wave of his hand, today announced he won’t back Graham-Cassidy either. That’s very encouraging news, but given that Republicans have until 9/30 at 11:59pm to transact some sort of ACA takedown, nobody should rest easy. Yet.

WASHINGTON — Senator John McCain of Arizona announced on Friday that he would oppose the latest proposal to repeal the Affordable Care Act, leaving Republican leaders with little hope of succeeding in their last-ditch attempt to dismantle the health law.
