Protest this weekend at Trump National Golf Course – outside the U.S. Women’s Open – for women’s rights

UPDATE: DUE TO TRAFFIC SAFETY CONCERNS WE ARE CANCELLING ACTIONS AT THE RATTLESNAKE BRIDGE/BURNT MILLS RD INTERSECTION FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEKEND.

This is perfect symmetry. President Trump’s just come from France directly to Bedminster and his Trump National Golf Course, where the U.S. Women’s Open will be played this weekend; it started yesterday. In Paris, representing our country, Trump eyeballed Brigitte Macron and made a creepster comment about her body. That’s how he addressed the French First Lady, and in the presence of the American First Lady, and President Emmanuel Macron.

Ew. Rapey.

You can understand why women’s rights groups began protesting holding the Women’s Open at a golf resort that financially benefits the Trump family, given his history of bragging of pussy-grabbing, and reducing women to bodies  – including beauty queens, and his own daughter Ivanka, who he has openly leered at. The reality is the location for the Women’s Open predates Trump’s entry into politics. The USGA (which is HQ’d in New Jersey) denied requests to move the event. So tomorrow and Sunday there’ll be more protests, stepped-up protests, outside the club. Shaunna Thomas of UltraViolet:

“They’re giving millions in revenue, free advertising and branding, to his platform and policies, which repeatedly degrade women, and encourage hate and division.”

Yup: Here’s detail on protests this weekend:
