Die-In at TMac’s

Today, about 100 people gathered in front of Tom MacArthur’s Marlton office to stage a “die-in”, part of a national movement symbolizing all of the people who will die because of MacArthur’s resurrection of Trump’s draconian health care initiative. Several people who would be adversely affected also spoke. On the video below, organizer Barbara Blonsky of Mount Laurel read an obituary of the Affordable Care Act, and Kristen Affrime of the Progressive Democrats of Cherry Hill read a poem by Linda Ellis entitled The Dash. Following that, there was a New Orleans-style funeral march around the parking lot, mourning the loss of the ACA and the people who will die prematurely due to MacArthur’s actions.
