Andrea Katz is a wife, mom, member of the Chesterfield Board of Education, and a vocal advocate for the environment. She’s a rising political star in the Democratic party, so expect to see more of her in the years ahead.
Chesterfield is a small, quiet Burlington County town that is about to be placed in danger by a natural gas pipeline and a mostly-unmanned compression station that would pump this shale gas through residential areas and the Pinelands.
At today’s Rally for the Pinelands, Katz spoke about the ongoing efforts to stop this environmental and residential hazard.
Disclosure: I have worked with Andrea on political campaigns. And she’s my go-to person for my annual purchase of Girl Scout cookies.
