We joke about how little the Governor is actually in the state doing his job, but a Wall Street Journal story quantifies just how little he in fact is in the Garden State:


Now you’ll remember, there are only 365 days in the whole year. So that’ means that Chris Christie spent 72% of his time last year outside the state that he was supposed to be running.

    The state Constitution strips the Governor of all powers when he is out of state. I’d love to see a comparison of when the Governor took executive action and/or signed/vetoes bills and when he was out of state.
