Governor Christie: Mop Up Your Own Mess

Mop Up Your Own Mess Governor

Mop Up Your Own Mess Governor

Today the Governor tried to mop up the mess he made by being truly offensive to the people of New Jersey and a questioner in a New Hampshire town hall meeting.

Republican Mayor Patrick Rosenello was interviewed today on 98.7Coast radio.  He shared that the Governor called him to apologize for ‘misspeaking’ regarding the damage from the storm.  Those listening got a second hand apology for the offensive lies of the Governor.  Not good enough. Not by a long shot.

That does not even begin to mop up his mess.  This is a governor who has no trouble commanding the airwaves, controlling a mic and getting his message out directly.  If he wants to apologize to the people of New Jersey, he should do so directly, not through a mayor.  He can come back home and do it from the state house, he can do a tele-presser from NH, or get himself back on the morning talk shows he loves.  Address us directly and apologize

Governor Christie you made the mess. Do not have others do your dirty work.  Mop it up yourself.

Gov. Christie is doing a press conference to start in just a few minutes.

His office did not give out details about the topic. But he’s been getting splash back from NJ residents and unwanted national coverage for his nasty, mocking comments to blizzard-slammed NJ residents, and his decision to vamoose outta here soon as he could on a private plane and off to watch football at a party in NH.

At a press conference standing alongside Steve Sweeney and AC mayor Guardian about Atlantic City, Christie took questions and the first was about his mocking remarks about the blizzard:

Christie said he apologized to the North Wildwood mayor over his storm comments, saying “I got carried away last night at a town hall meeting.” Christie called him “crazy” for saying this weekend’s blizzard was worse than Sandy.
