Jeff Tittel on the Mercer Generation Plant

Earlier this week, a group of kayakers joined environmental activists to raise awareness of the issues surrounding the PSE&G Mercer Generation Plant, just downriver from the state capitol on the Delaware River. While most people understand that these plants pollute the air, they also cause damage to the water – both in terms of the marine life that lives there and the drinking water supply. Jeff Tittel, Director of the New Jersey Sierra Club explains.

Seriously, when is Tittle going to retire from the NJ Sierra Club? He supports Republicans and becomes cozy with them over the years and then is shocked shocked when they vote against the enviornment. Its really time for the next generation to move on in to the NJ Sierra Club and take over. Its become a one person show – the Jeff Sierra Club.

Unfortunately, the membership seems satisfied with a talking head with little influence.
