The Christie Agenda: #GetOverIt

In Utah, hobnobbing last weekend with Mitt Romney’s moneyed GOP elite, Chris Christie tried to lure back the jittery big money that doesn’t trust him anymore. It’s his newest strategy – to pretend that his scandal-plagued administration is no problem at all, and there are no more shoes to drop on Bridgegate. Christie to worried fatcats:

“Don’t be nervous,” Christie told the crowd. “You’ll get over it. It will be fine.”

You”ll get over it. Yup. He probably didn’t think that would go public. And yup, Mitt “47%” Romney should have warned him.

What are New Jersey residents supposed to “get over” with this governor? We started making a list, which you can share on Twitter with the click of each link: (If you’re not on Twitter, you can share on Facebook or email to friends)

  • The Christie Agenda: #GetOverIt

It appears that the Governor was in rare form this past weekend trying to court GOP donors and assure them his myriad of problems in NJ were really no problem at all. During weekend fundraisers with some GOP Elite, this is how NJ 101.5 characterized what Christie was trying to do:

He attempted to calm any fears about the lingering stench of Bridgegate, promising that there is no smoking gun.

“Don’t be nervous,” Christie told the crowd. “You’ll get over it. It will be fine.”

Just the fact he has to allay the fears from the stench of anything shows you how big of a problem he has to deal with. Christie’s reaction led us here at Blue Jersey to think, what else will New Jersey residents have to get over because of the actions and even inaction at times of this Governor.  Here is the start of our list, which you can share on Twitter with the click of each link:

from Mr. Fiscal responsibility. Chris Christie said he would turn Trenton upside down and he did – one of the richest states in the country has lost trust in being able to responsibly pay its bills.

The list is too long, perhaps a better idea would be a list of things we don’t need to get over… lesfleurs.ch
