How are you better off than four years ago?

In case you haven’t heard, Mitt Romney – first presidential candidate to purchase a trending topic on Twitter – saw #AreYouBetterOff blow up in his face when the Twitterverse responded with a tsunami of assorted versions of YES. And it cost Romney more than egg on his face. You have to shell out $120,000/day to buy a trending topic. (Undeterred, Koch-flavored Americans for Prosperity bought one today with mixed results: #FailingAgenda. But you know, this is a good question ….  promoted by Rosi

A few campaign officials had trouble answering if America is better off than it was four years ago. We all know we are, here’s mine!

I’m better off than I was four years ago because President Obama reopened stem cell research that has lead to the FDA approving the first human tests of Schwann cells on spinal cord injuries.

It’d be great if other Blue Jerseyans could throw in their experiences, we can all tell real stories when the question is asked.

thanks to the First Time Home Buyer credit.  I was able to keep my business going after the crash of 2008 with work from the Stimulus for infrastructure spending.  The tax credits for my small business kept my taxes low, and I got a credit to pay for health care costs too.  I doubt I would have such a good report if President Obama had not been in office.  I am better off than I was when Bush was President. For sure.
