Kim Guadagno would say it’s over.
Carl Lewis’ lawyers would say it isn’t.
The latest came just a few minutes ago. A memo came down yesterday from Guadagno (wearing her not-at-all-partisan Secretary of State hat), and filed today in court to all 3 county clerks in the eighth legislative district. Her interpretation of an order from a federal appeals court that Lewis should be on the ballot is that order only only applied to the June primary – not the November general.
Lewis’ attorney, William Tambussi called Guadagno’s letter “brazen” and so he’s back looking for backup from the court, asking a federal judge to tell Guadagno to put Lewis on the ballot for November.
